These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Sidegigs mobile application, operated by Wrkshift Pvt. Ltd., Kerala, India. By accessing or using the Sidegigs platform, you agree to comply with these terms and all applicable laws and regulations in India.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Sidegigs, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which constitute a legally binding agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the Sidegigs platform.

2. Service Description

Sidegigs is a digital platform operated by Wrkshift Pvt. Ltd. that connects students and individuals with part-time and gig-based opportunities posted by employers.

The platform allows users to:

  • Create profiles
  • Discover gig or part-time job opportunities
  • Post job opportunities
  • Apply for jobs
  • Communicate with other users through the platform

Sidegigs only provides the technology platform to enable these connections between users.

3. Platform Role

Sidegigs acts solely as a technology platform that connects job seekers with employers offering gig opportunities.

Sidegigs:

  • Is not the employer of any user on the platform
  • Does not act as an agent, contractor, or partner of any user
  • Does not guarantee employment or job availability
  • Is not responsible for agreements made between users
  • Does not guarantee payment for any job posted

All work arrangements, agreements, and payments occur directly between employers and workers.

4. Eligibility

To use the Sidegigs platform, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be legally able to enter into contracts under Indian law
  • Use a valid Google account to sign in to the platform

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their Google account and any activity performed through their Sidegigs account.

5. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate profile information
  • Use the platform only for lawful purposes
  • Treat other users respectfully
  • Not post fraudulent, illegal, or misleading job listings
  • Not use the platform for scams, unlawful work, or harmful activities
  • Respect confidentiality of information shared through the platform

Users are responsible for their own actions and agreements made with other users.

6. Payments Between Users

Sidegigs does not process or handle payments between users.

All payment arrangements for jobs posted on the platform are handled directly between employers and workers.

Sidegigs is not responsible for payment disputes or financial agreements between users.

7. Account Suspension or Termination

Sidegigs may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms and Conditions
  • Engage in fraudulent or misleading activities
  • Harass or abuse other users
  • Post illegal or inappropriate job listings

Users may also delete their account at any time through the application.

8. Intellectual Property

Users agree to respect intellectual property rights and not misuse or distribute content belonging to other users or employers.

9. Limitation of Liability

Sidegigs provides the platform on an "as is" basis.

Wrkshift Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for:

  • Job outcomes or employment results
  • Payment arrangements between users
  • Disputes or agreements made between users
  • Actions or behavior of other users
  • Any indirect or consequential damages arising from platform use

Wrkshift Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for any disputes, losses, or damages resulting from agreements between users.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes arising from the use of the platform will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts located in Kannur, Kerala, India.

11. Changes to Terms

Sidegigs may update these Terms periodically to reflect service improvements or legal requirements.

Users will be notified of significant updates through the application.
